Experienced technical staff are trained in Structural Steel Detailing, Tekla Structures 16.1, TurboCAD and have practical experience in fabrication processes.

Project Size
Projects over 10 tons, with most projects in the 30 to 200 ton range. Most projects are completed within a month but larger projects can be discussed.

BBD was founded in 2006 by Barry De Beer. He studied Mechanical Design Engineering in Pretoria South Africa and has more than 10 years experience in the Engineering industry, both national and international.

Although BBD is a relatively young firm, we show good potential for growth. Our ambition is to expand and create a good stable relationships with clients which in turn will promote job creation. Our offices are situated in Johannesburg but if a project requires on site detailing, arrangements can be made.

We are always available for our clients (including weekends) especially since we are almost always ( 7 A.M TO 6 P.M ) open and working.

We communicate regularly by phone and e-mail, so you will know exactly what is going on with your job, at all times. Our effective tools and reliable project management system will ensure the projects quick and efficient completion.
